Galvanized coil nails manufacturing process
Hot-Dipped Galvanized Coil Nails:
Wire Drawing: Low carbon steel wire is drawn to the desired diameter.
Nail Formation: The iron wire is cut and shaped into coil nails.
Cleaning: Nails are cleaned to remove impurities.
Galvanization: Coil nails are dipped in molten zinc, forming a thick, protective layer(35-208g/m2).
Cooling: The coated iron nails are cooled and inspected for quality.
Electro-Galvanized Coil Nails:
Wire Drawing: Low carbon steel wire is drawn to the required size.
Nail Formation: The iron wire is cut and shaped into nails.
Cleaning: Coil nails are cleaned to remove any residues.
Electroplating: Coil nails are submerged in a zinc electrolyte solution, and an electric current applies a thin zinc coating.
Drying: The iron nails are dried and inspected for uniform coating.
The galvanized iron nails are then formed into coil nails using a coil nail making machine. This machine arranges the iron nails in order, welds them with copper-coated welding wire, and rolls them into coils . The machine automatically cuts the coil after reaching a set quantity of coil nails and is ready for packaging.
